The Plan

I love a good challenge! Always self-motivated and I measure my success only against my personal goals. When I started this blog, I was a marathoner with a triathlon dream. On September 18, 2021 I became an Ironman! It took me 14:21:14 and I don’t even remember my name being called 😅.

After my second marathon, I decided I want to run a marathon in every state. I am still at 5 (because Ironman Maryland was a repeat of Maryland), but it’s time to get back at it! Races are back on after COVID cancellations, so I plan on picking up the pace on this one.

I have one more goal with the marathons: I plan on qualifying for Boston. I have A LOT to shave off, but it’s something for me to focus my training on.

I really enjoy being a triathlete, although full Ironman takes a bit more of a time commitment than I can give again. So it’s back to 70.3 for me. What’s the challenge there? Trying to qualify for World Championships of course!

My goals may not be the most realistic or short term, but I will work on them and share what I’ve learned along the way!
